From chaos to consistency: my YouTube scripting workflow

For two years my uploads were a coin flip. Some weeks I shipped three videos; other weeks I vanished. The problem was never effort — it was the blank page. Every script started from zero.

The fix was boring and it worked: a scripting workflow. A hook bank, a three-act outline, and a retention pass where I read every line out loud and cut anything that didn’t earn its place.

The system in three steps

First, capture the idea and its single promise. Second, draft against a fixed outline so structure is never the bottleneck. Third, run a retention edit focused only on pacing and clarity.

Consistency didn’t come from motivation. It came from removing decisions. That’s the whole story.
